Terms of use
Short and fair: what you can expect from Connecty, and what we expect from you.
The service
Connecty offers a free public status page at name.connecty.nl. You can add up to five HTTPS websites, which we check once a day. By using Connecty, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with an email address you control. Keep that inbox safe: anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
Acceptable use
Use Connecty fairly. In particular:
- Only add websites you own or are allowed to monitor.
- Don’t use Connecty to attack, overload or probe websites or systems, or to get around its limits.
- Don’t use page addresses, URLs or logos that are illegal, misleading or offensive, or that infringe the rights of others.
- Remember that your page is public: don’t add URLs that contain secrets or personal data.
Free and as-is
Connecty is free and provided as-is. We do our best, but we don’t guarantee that the service or your status page is always available, or that check results are complete, accurate or on time. Checks run once a day, so Connecty is not suitable for critical monitoring.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Connecty is not liable for damage resulting from using, or being unable to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and changes
We may remove content, or suspend or delete accounts, that break these terms or abuse the service. We may change these terms, change the service or stop it altogether. For important changes, we’ll try to let you know by email in advance.
Stopping
You can stop using Connecty at any time. To have your account and data deleted, see the privacy policy or contact us.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
